Rising British bass smith Low Steppa has had a damn good year courtesy of landmark remixes and the ongoing leaps and bounds of his own Simma Black imprint. Having recently turned his hand to Robsonic & KRS-One’s ‘Free Flow,’ the Birmingham prospect takes the reigns of fast ascending electronic songstress KStewart. With collaborative duties alongside Oliver Heldens, TCTS and Karma Kid behind her, London’s KStewart has held an emotive and melodic standpoint on the European market. Low Steppa comes with a suitable flare of club playability and signature low end mechanics, turning the elegant and pop leaning original into another fine example of his modern house work. Where the task of both owing and perfecting a signature sound is concerned, Low Steppa’s is a rare and wonderful specimen on the UK front right now.
