Shambhala shares 2015 recap video, announces ticket sales for 2016
Shambhala stands as one of the best-kept secrets of music festivals, tucked away on private land in Canada. The 500-acre Salmo River Ranch in British Columbia is home to the community celebration of music and art, and has been since 1998.
The festival’s 18th year marked a huge milestone, evident by the recently released Official 2015 Aftermovie. Watch beautiful highlights from the event, which featured headlining sets from artists like Skrillex, Pretty Lights, and Kygo.
Though Shambhala boasts a massive lineup, the festival stays true to its roots by denying corporate sponsorships, allowing full focus on the staff and community that are able to bring the festival’s vision to life. While some festivals have reached peak mainstream exposure, Shambhala continues to provide an experience curated by fans, for fans.
Shambhala 2016 will take place August 5-8, and the lineup is to be announced. Though early bird passes sold out in record time, regular 3-day tickets are on sale now.
