Boys Noize publishes previously unreleased remix and more in end of year BitTorrent bundle
Boys Noize has not been quiet in celebrating the decade anniversary of his Boysnoize Records imprint. Alex Ridha has released a full length album, led an international tour, and released a short documentary to mark the label’s milestone.
As 2015 draws to a close, Ridha has decided to thank the fans that have helped ensure BNR’s longevity by giving out one final gift, a 31-track bittorrent bundle that includes a range of classic songs from Boys Noize himself, his collaborative projects with Skrillex, Chilly Gonzales, and Mr. Oizo, and a number of other releases from peers and BNR signees.
Most notably, the bundle kicks off with a previously unreleased remix of industrial Parisian producer Jackson and His Computerband‘s “Arp #1.” In his remix, Ridha builds upon the warm, lo-fi synthesis of the original production to proffer a pleasantly glitchy techno-infused composition, reminiscent of some of his more resonant classics like “Lava Lava” and “Jeffer”.
