Buku poised to be one of the most diverse festivals of 2016

There aren’t many festivals like Buku Music + Art Project. Centered in the heart of New Orleans, Buku is an extension of the Mardi Gras motif. Its a vibrant, loud, raging dance party among towering parade floats just outside the French Quarter. Only Buku encapsulates the spirit of New Orleans in two short days, packing a heavy dose of hedonism behind a star-studded lineup that’ll make hip-hop heads and dance fanatics salivate. The festival’s 2016 installment is led by Pretty Lights and Kid Cudi, with Nero, Miike Snow, and Above & Beyond also swiping this year’s top billings.

The roster also includes performances by A$AP Ferg, Baauer, AlunaGeorge, and NGHTMRE, with pairings like Mija and Anna Lunoe, Cashmere Cat and Trippy Turtle going back-to-back. From a revamped Crystal Castles to What So Not, with acts like Earl Sweatshirt and GRiZ in between, Buku Music + Art Project drops one of the most colorful lineups of the upcoming spring festival season.
