DA Premiere: Panic City Feat. Reid Stefan & Mike Taylor – Up All Night (Original Mix)
Panic City‘s secret is simple: the North American newcomer makes house music that speaks to both to the genre’s modern elite and the bass favoring sects. It’s made his ongoing allegiance with Dim Mak a considerable no brainer, but there’s a sense of the West Coast prospect pulling a one-up where the Up All Night EP is concerned.
Aside from being a solid vocal number amidst the array of mediocre dance records attempting towards cross the pop threshold, ‘Up All Night’ is a welcomingly unique stab at proceedings. The furious beats and familiar chug of his studio panache are all on display, but there’s an energy and universal air that puts the track within a world where hip-hop and modern house hallmarks music can don’t just sit side-by-side, but make incredibly good bed fellows. Not only is Panic City evolving with every original release, but his ownership of the sound takes a new peak at the final hurdle of 2015. Release Date: December 4
