Flume may have just revealed his next album’s release date and cover art

Back in July, in an interview with NMEFlume announced that his sophomore album was nearly complete. With a bevy of new tracks previewed at his shows in 2015 and during his debut Essential Mix, the Australian future bass trailblazer has kept his new material tightly under lock. The wait for Flume’s new music could soon be shorter thank we think, however, as the producer posted an Instagram photo with what looks to be artwork for his sophomore LP or new single.

While no concrete details come with the photo other than the date, February 1, inscribed at the bottom, it’s hard to imagine it being anything other than new music. With a second EP alongside Chet Faker also coming out soon as well, Flume is clearly starting the hype train for 2016 early and fans will have to play the waiting game just a little bit longer to hear some new music from one of Australia’s most prolific electronic icons.
