Kygo shows off his classical skills with acoustic cover of ‘Stay’
Tropical house trailblazer Kygo has spent the past twelve months solidifying himself as one of Norway’s largest sources of pride. Working immensely hard throughout the year embarking on a world tour and releasing a bevy of fresh singles, the young producer’s success culminated in his performance at the Nobel Peace Prizes as its premier electronic performer.
Earlier in the year, Kygo impressed fans with a series of videos through Apple music that demonstrated his prodigious piano skills. As he looks forward to the start of another year with a huge show at New York’s Barclay Center, he stopped first to gift fans with a video of him covering his latest single “Stay” acoustically. Accompanied by Maty Noyes’ raspy live vocals and backed up by string players, Kygo’s incredible musicianship shines through and attests to his success as an artist, not a DJ.
