New trademark filings suggest additional Beats radio stations coming to Apple Music

When tech giant Apple gobbled up Beats Electronics and all its properties in May of 2014, the Dr. Dre and JImmy Lovine-founded entity became part of the future of the entire music industry. The platform was transformed and re-branded as Beats 1, which brought along Zane Lowe, Eric Prydz, and Drake to the new streaming service.

According to French blog Consomac, it appears that new trademark filings have surfaced that may hold the key to the future of Apple Music. Trademark filings have been submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office which include Beats 2, Beats 3, Beats 4, and Beats 5, along with new stylized logos. No official news regarding content emerged as part of the leak, as the trademark filings used a generic and broad description of what would be included in the new stations.
