Having first been paired together on Axtone Records when Redondo was tasked with remixing CamelPhat‘s “Siren Song,” the two artists reunite on Spinnin’ Deep with “Paths.” Already having graced BBC Radio 1 courtesy of Pete Tong and Danny Howard, the pair’s first collaboration utilizes lush synths and a relaxed bassline to create a lightly toned original mix. A soothing collaboration that utilizes a handful of characteristics that have become synonymous with not only Spinnin’ Deep, but modern deep house, “Paths” combines two talents that have crafted respective careers through different outlets.
