Stephen – Crossfire

With the proliferation of young aspiring artists making upbeat fun music, Stephen has gradually grown a following through his gorgeous introspective compositions. Only 23 years old, Stephen has resonated with fans, many of whom can relate to his growing pains as a young adult finding his place in the fast-paced dynamic world.

In his latest song ‘Crossfire,’ Stephen’s song reflects on cultural differences in our world, a very relevant topic of conversation in light of the recent saddening attacks on Paris and San Bernardino.

“There are people out there who are suffering and there’s very little they can do about it,” he explains. “Sometimes I feel guilty when I’m happy because I know that these people are hurting. How can I be happy when I know that people are being forced to live in refugee camps and ghettos, while women are being sex trafficked and millions of innocent people are suffering? So as I sit here and look at my life, I feel grateful, but I also feel confused.”

With a production that packs a somber punch, the guitar riffs drive the energy of the music while the vocals call attention to the major issues of our world. With his worldly views packaged in incredible instrumentals, Stephen has emerged as an artist to watch in 2016.
