Ultra Music Festival unleashes 2016 line up release led by Pendulum, Avicii, Carl Cox and more
Ultra Music Festival just unleashed the line up for the 2016 edition like a bomb. While, as usual, the roster of talents is comprised of globally recognized names, the standout news to be gleamed from the line up is the surprise return of Pendulum.
Despite the return of consistent main stage talents like Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell and Tiësto, the festival seems to be pushing forward with its attempt to diversify with names like Chet Faker, The Prodigy, Miike Snow and Tycho. In addition to the highly anticipated Pendulum return, Ultra has also managed to wrangle a reunion of Rabbit in the Moon, a live breakbeat electronic group that called it quits in 2010.
Thanks to the previously announced return of Ultra’s Resistance stage concept, underground artists like Carl Cox, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex and Loco Dice represent a fair portion of the phase one line up announcement.
