The Weeknd unexpectedly drops two new collaborations on his Soundcloud

The Weeknd dominated the hip-hop and R&B scene with his seminal album Beauty Behind the Madness, whose singles “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills” both made it to the top spot on the Billboard Top 100. Four months later as Christmas rolled around, the Canadian talent slyly uploaded another two heavy-hitting pieces on his Soundcloud for his dedicated fans to revel in.

A remix of “Pass Dat” by Jeremih was the first to appear, combining both crooners’ vocal prowess into a bass-y, sensual R&B piece that provides a perfect soundtrack to activities implied in the track’s title. Moving into the grittier hip-hop side of his artistry is a collaboration with Future titled “Low Life” which features smooth, auto-tuned verses by Future and The Weeknd’s silky vocals gracing the chorus. It presents a similar vibe to the raunchy piece “The HIlls.” No release dates have been announced for either, but both can be streamed below.
