Claptone to present Immortal live at Coachella 2016
In early 2015, German luminary Claptone announced his plans for a new, live audio-visual show entitled ‘Immortal.’ Divided into three chapters — The Past, The Present, and The Future — each containing their own visual language, the project is a partnership with creative director Peter Martin, who is responsible for earth-shattering projects such as the world’s first holographic duet.
Last year, Immortal Live debuted at festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Stereosonic, and Melt!, to name a few. Now, Coachella is next in line to play witness to the exciting live performance. The news has been confirmed by Coachella’s updated lineup poster (which you can see below) which now reads “Claptone Immortal Live.” According to one ardent Claptone fan on Reddit, two members of the enigmatic group will likely appear at the annual festival, possibly even bringing along live vocalists for the trip.
