Denney delivers tech house special for second Essential Mix of the year
The Essential Mix is off to a great start in 2016. After Maribou State delivered a chilled-out, two hour special to inaugurate the year, Denney has been tapped for week 2 of the world-famous mix show.
The Leeds-based producer caught fire in 2015 when his Hot Creations A-side, “Low Frequency,” became one of the most ubiquitous house tunes of the year. Furthering his name in the summer with his first Ibiza residency as part of Steve Lawler’s Viva Warriors crew, Denney became a definitive artist to watch in the underground space.
Denney’s debut Essential Mix flows like an extended club set, starting off at a slower and more mellow pace before ramping up to peak-time intensity. The mix features plenty of unreleased tracks, including a new single from his forthcoming EP on Crosstown Rebels.
