Kygo partners with urban pop artist Mr Brainwash
There’s no question that Kygo was one of the most influential artists in electronic dance music in 2015. From performances at the Nobel Peace Prize Summit, to a handful of genre-defining original work, the Norwegian talent broke new boundaries and bridged the gap between the mainstream and EDM like few others before him.
In early December, he announced his Cloud Nine World Tour with a stop at the newly minted Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and today he has just teased a forthcoming partnership with Mr Brainwash, the urban pop art phenomenon featured in Banksy’s documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. Details surrounding the partnership are still scarce, but the first piece to emerge from Mr Brainwash’s studio is the official flyer for his January 21st stop in New York City.
