Skrillex’s premier imprint, OWSLA, originally began as a launchpad for dance music’s more cutting-edge, bass-savvy producer. In recent years, however, the Sonny Moore = has diversified his portfolio considerably. Early surprise signees included Hundred Waters and KOAN Sound, while OWSLA inducted their first singer into the label family with Moving Castle’s Mark Johns late last year.

For her OWSLA debut, the LA-based songstress has unveiled “BTFU (Mommy Issues).” Backed by a soulful arrangement of slick guitar lines and swinging percussion courtesy of producer Brenton Duvall, Mark Johns’ welcoming croons take center stage as she touches on her past relationship frustrations.
