Monstercat’s mystery artist, Karma Fields, previews debut album with new video

Karma Fields undeniably rose to be one of Monstercat’s standout acts in 2015 and thus earned a spot amongst Dancing Astronaut’s 25 Artists to Watch in 2016. The Canadian label surfaced the mysterious producer at the beginning of the year with the project’s first single “Build The Cities,” accompanied with a 3D-mapping video to create a multi-sensory experience. To keep Karma Fields on the tip of fans’ tongues at the start of the new year, Monstercat uploaded a video preview of what the enigmatic producer will be up to in 2016, which includes a debut album.

The album preview only gives a couple details regarding the album in the two minute snippet, including a released date of March 2 and a title of New Age | Dark Age. Complementing programmer Raven Kwok’s monochromatic, 3D-mapped visuals with a combination of robust organ chords and spry synths, Karma Fields once again provokes us to question who is behind the budding project.
