We are yet to hear the original mix of MORTEN‘s first PRMD Music single since 2013, but the Danish producer’s follow-up is already collecting some serious remix duties. Off the back of an offering from US newcomers Nine Lives, Grammy nominated remixer and overall production enigma RAC steps in for a notable debut for the label, bringing his practiced experimental stylings with for the ride. This is the clubbiest and most electronically focussed we have heard André Allen Anjos go in a long time, but behind the wheel of ‘Beautiful Heartbeat’ the North American producer makes a chilling and impactful mark on the emotively charged vocal single. The verdict is still out as to whether ‘Beautiful Heartbeat’ is MORTEN’s biggest single to date, but RAC’s mix is enough to set anticipation of its formal release at an all time high.
