SunSquabi – SquabCat (Original Mix)
Colorado-based trio SunSquabi is launching 2016 with the release of “SquabCat,” the lead single off of the band’s upcoming debut album Odyssey. SunSquabi recently signed with GRiZ‘s label All Good Records, which will be releasing the album later this year. The group combines the technical production prowess and live artistry that have created a resurgence in popularity for live electronic groups, and the band has opened for pioneering live acts like Big Gigantic.
“SquabCat” is distinctly reminiscent of Ratatat productions, combining slinky synths and groovy instrumentals for a modern funk-inspired result. SunSquabi will be touring with The Floozies on a 30+ date tour throughout February and March.
