Carl Cox to DJ at the House of Commons in May

Oh yes, oh yes, you read that correctly: Carl Cox will become the latest famous name to play the House of Commons on May 11, following in the footsteps of Fatboy Slim, who was the last DJ to rock the HoC in 2013.

The head of Intec is the headliner for a charity bash, House the House, by the LNADJ Foundation, which is an organization that marries the global dance community with charitable action. House the House is a UK DJ competition for those between the ages of 17 and 24, with the winner getting to open for Carl Cox on May 11. To enter, all you have to do is raise £50 and get a mix on Mixcloud. The best will be chosen by a group of judges.

House the House will raise funds to aid young people living in war zones.

This isn’t the first non-club or warehouse venue Cox has played in recent years; in 2014, he helped transform a Roman stadium into an outdoor nightclub alongside Maceo Plex for Circoloco.
