Cashmere Cat reveals his debut album is underway

Cashmere Cat excels as one of dance music’s most multidimensional artists, transcending from SoundCloud uploads to mainstream productions for talent like Usher and Tinashe. Most recently, the Norwegian musician, née Magnus August Høiberg, worked with Sinjin Hawke for production credits on Kanye West’s “Wolves,” from his new album, The Life of Pablo. According to Høiberg, working with West and producing “Wolves” was “literally my biggest dream come true.”

As Høiberg continues to polish his production résumé, he’s announced on Twitter that he is in the process of creating his debut album, which serves as a follow-up to his Wedding Bells EP, released in 2014 via Lucky Me. He is working very hard on his first full-length feature, which, according to the artist himself, “feels like the best music I’ve ever done.”

Given Cashmere Cat’s musical track record, we can only hope that he’ll feature multi-genre collaborations with other influential musicians.
