Crystal Castles announce new album and North American tour dates

In October 2014, Alice Glass, former lead vocalist of Crystal Castles, announced her departure from the band, suggesting that the group would be put to rest once and for all. Citing personal and professional reasons behind her decision to leave, fans were left in the dark for months as they mourned the loss of one of electronic music’s most beloved groups. In April 2015, however, Ethan Kath revealed Crystal Castles’ new project with a fresh face: Edith Frances.

Less than a year later, Crystal Castles are ready to show off their transformation, with their first album since Glass’s departure to be released this spring. “Frail” and “Deicide” will be included on the new full-length, which will mark Crystal Castles’ first LP since 2012’s III. The group will also embark on a North American tour, visiting festivals like Buku, Ultra, Spring Awakening and more in the coming months.
