Electric Forest creates safe space for female attendees with ‘Her Forest Program’
Electric Forest is touted each year as a must-see music festival destination that caters to its eclectic range of artists and attendees alike, affectionately known as Forest Family. This year’s edition will see the four-day affair add the first-ever Her Forest Initiative, which provides women attending and camping alone at the festival a “supportive and empowering environment” with other solo females in attendance.
The main focus of the program is the women’s group camp located in the heart of general camping for female forest-goers to meet, interact and share their Forest experiences with each other. The program costs a small fee and the rules to participate can be found here.
