Beloved Internet curator, Majestic Casual, has developed an esteemed reputation as one of electronic music’s top YouTube tastemakers with a heavy emphasis on future-based and deeper genres. Just after taking over Beats 1 Radio for their own residency back in December, Majestic Casual looks to expand its overarching influence by launching its own free music label called Majestic Colour.

The first release on the imprint comes from Portland-based beatsmith Electric Mantis in the form of “Daybreak.” A downtempo, future R&Bass cut full of whipping percussion and strung out, warped melodies, Electric Mantis’ work on “Daybreak” perfectly represents not only Majestic Casual’s past tastes but also the direction in which Majestic Colour is headed in the future.
