Glow x Dancing Astronaut Present: Claptone at Soundcheck (2/21)
Although the mystery producer phenomenon has seen both successes and failures, German house aficionado, Claptone, aligns with the most successful of the enigmatic crowd. The gold masked producer’s debut LP, Charmer, earned wide-spread acclaim upon its release last year in addition to his groundbreaking Essential Mix, which earned a top spot in Dancing Astronaut’s Top 10 Essential Mixes of 2015.
Last year, Claptone traveled all over the world to promote his new album, but his tour schedule for 2016 looks to open a new chapter of the artist project with his Immortal Live show landing a coveted spot on this year’s Coachella lineup. Now at the end of his Charmer Album Release World Tour, Claptone will be taking the decks at DC’s Soundcheck Nightclub on February 21 to transport the crowd into a world of both modern and nostalgic house atmospheres.
