Governors Ball releases 2016 daily lineup

Throughout the past five years, Governors Ball has made a name for itself in by far one of the hardest cities to please: New York City. With humble beginnings as a one-day event on Governors Island, the festival, now in its sixth year, has moved on to Randall’s Island and blossomed into one of New York’s most diverse musical events.

The release of this year’s single day lineups only goes to further demonstrate the eclectic mix of artists booked for Governors Ball 2016. Perhaps most intriguing about the day-by-day lineup release is the decision to have Kanye West close out night three alongside Death Cab for Cutie and Chvrches.
