Henry Saiz previews new ‘Night Cult’ EP for Suara

Henry Saiz, the Madrid born electronica maestro, released a preview this week for his forthcoming Night Cult EP, his first release on Coyu’s Suara imprint.

Saiz is a veteran of the underground, released one of the biggest tracks of 2009  — a remix of Guy J’s “Lamur” on Bedrock — earning him the honor of Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, and winning awards for his own label, not to mention live performances from DJ Mag Spain, and Deejay Magazine in 2010 and 2011.

Saiz stays true to his mission of marrying art with electronic music, to life’s essential moments, by blending equal parts of classic tech house, electronica, and disco in the trio of tracks. The sound designer takes listeners on an atmospheric and cinematic journey, curating every detail of the listening experience, including the track titles: “Dystopian,” “Sphynx,” and “Lucero del Alba.” Translated, these track names speak to the journey from darkness, to light; from being frightened, to calm and enlightened, while still including something about cats for the label that honors all things cats and music.

Sit back, relax, and let Henry Saiz take you on a journey.
