Skrillex, Avicii, A$AP Rocky all set to headline Superbowl 50 concerts
Super Bowl 50 is just around the corner and with the biggest Sunday of the year set to kick off in San Francisco, parties to celebrate the occasion are springing up left and right around the grand event. Beyoncé and Coldplay aren’t the only acts around to satisfy your sonic cravings during the game, with satellite events all over the city roping in impressive talent for a busy weekend. The talent flocking to San Francisco could fill an entire lineup bill, with names ranging from Skrillex to Metallica, Avicii to Fall Out Boy, and plenty in between.
Avicii is primed to perform at a Rolling Stone party on Saturday night while Skrillex is slated to perform the same evening at go90 Live, an event offering free first-come-first-served tickets. Other lineups from around San Francisco during Super Bowl 50 weekend also promise performances by A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, Lil Wayne, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
With Super Bowl weekend nearly underway, electronic music and the big game have never seemed closer. Who knows, maybe one day soon one of our favorite acts will be headlining the Super Bowl show from the 50 yard line.
