Skrillex goes K-pop with new 4minute collaboration

Skrillex is a known for being a chameleon in the studio, and it seems that everywhere he travels and everyone he meets somehow shines through on his productions. For his latest offering on a quick production spree to kickstart the year, Skrill has linked up with South Korean pop outfit 4minute for a new piece entitled ‘Hate.’ So far in 2016 we find Sonny on a howling house cut alongside Must Die!, dabbling in mellow garage themes with TEAM EZY on “Pretty Bye Bye,” and now we have a curiously catchy pop/trap hybrid with 4minute in tow. Slightly deviating from the American hip-hop production styles Skrillex has proven to be familiar with, “Hate” has the five-female starlets chirping over a bombastic Skrillex beat. Despite not knowing a single word, you may find you have Skrill’s stomping composition playing on repeat all day long.
