The Star Wars electronic album has finally arrived and it’s glorious

The Star Wars franchise found a new foothold in pop culture last year with the record breaking release of The Force Awakens and it seems as though J.J. Abrams and his cohorts wont be stopping there.  The highly anticipated compilation album Star Wars Headspace has finally arrived on streaming platforms. Hungry fans can now enjoy 15 original tracks from the likes of Baauer, Rustie, Claude VonStroke, and so many more — all given the production treatments of the legendary Rick Rubin.

Starting with the Kaskade-helmed opener, Star Wars Headspace is a tour de force. Each song samples iconic Star Wars moments that are both humorous and dynamic. From Bonobo’s entrancing “Ghomrassen” to the muddy melodies of Galantis’ “Scruffy Looking Nerfherder,” the album weaves seemingly divergent styles together with the sheer beauty of the legendary franchise.

The album is set to roll out on March 18, but is available to stream on Spotify and other digital outlets now.
