Watch Disney’s new music videos for Baauer, Flying Lotus and Rick Rubin’s Star Wars album songs
On February 8, Beats 1 revealed the ambitious plans for Star Wars Headspace, a 15-track electronic album with Rick Rubin at the helm and an all-star cast of collaborators. The official video for Baauer‘s contribution, “Cantina Boys,” is out now on Disney Music’s VEVO, as well as the videos for Flying Lotus’s “R2 Where R U” and Rick Rubin’s “NR-G7.”
The videos combine intergalactic imagery with synced audio-visual effects. Baauer’s in particular will be familiar with anyone who has seen one of his high-intensity live performances. Over the course of the two and a half minute video for “Cantina Boys,” the viewer travels across the solar system with a hard-hitting, Cantina-inspired soundtrack propelling the way.
