Axwell drops first solo single in three years ‘Barricade’

It’s been three years since Axwell last stood solo on the releases front, but a lot has happened since “Center of the Universe.” Where Axwell Λ Ingrosso took the global spotlight throughout 2015, the Axtone ringleader breaks his silence this month with brand new single “Barricade.” Long speculated to be an Axwell Λ Ingrosso single and already teased mercilessly within their sets, the track shows a harder and more relentless side to Axwell’s infamous production prowess, landing as detailed and impactful as ever. There’s a lot less of the sunkissed club veteran we know and love to this one, but “Barricade” is no less an epic piece of work from one of Sweden’s remaining house icons.
