Bal en Blanc Festival teams up with One Drop charity

Bal en Blanc has cemented its name as one of Montreal’s premier electronic music events. First launched in 1995, the annual event has expanded into the city’s largest indoor music festival, bringing 15,000 people together each year.

Now in its 22nd edition, Bal en Blanc takes over Palais des Congrès this weekend with a stellar cast of talent. Afrojack, KSHMR, and Gareth Emery round out the commercial side of the spectrum, while Art Department, Lee Foss, Mark Knight and more will be holding it down for the house and techno contingent.

Ahead of the event, Bal en Blanc has announced a partnership with One Drop: a Montreal-based international non-profit organization who seeks to provide clean drinking water to communities worldwide. “Pairing One Drop with Bal en Blanc’s young, inspired and socially aware audience, has the potential to turn the event into a major mobilizing, fundraising experience for the cause of water,” Catherine B. Bachand, CEO of One Drop, says.

Ultimately, the partnership is just the beginning of a larger collaborative endeavor between Bal en Blanc and One drop, which will come to full fruition the festival’s 2017 iteration.

Bal en Blanc takes place on Sunday, March 27. Tickets are available here.
