Coachella tickets will come with cardboard virtual reality headsets
In about a month, Coachella will return to Indio for the 3-day festival across two consecutive weekends. This year’s tickets come with an extra bonus in the welcome package, consisting of supplies for virtual reality programming with a Google Cardboard headset and accompanying app.
With the Coachella VR App, attendees can view exclusive content like 360-degree festival photos, past interviews, and performances from artists on this year’s bill. New content will be loaded into the Android and iOS-compatible app until Coachella kicks off on April 15, though there’s no indication yet of whether VR technology will be available during the festival itself.
