NGHTMRE has proven to be one of the most exciting talents on the rise, and each release shows the young Los Angeles-based producer honing his craft and refining his technique. Following an aced remix of Tommy Trash’s “Luv U Giv,” NGHTMRE comes through with one more original piece ahead of the release of his upcoming EP, landing on March 25 via Mad Decent. His latest, “Touch,” is a beating low-end thrill ride, pushing all of NGHTMRE’s thematic influences on a single track.
Putting together a heavy-handed blend of dubstep and trap components, “Touch” is polished with a dazzling future-bass coating, roping together all of NGHTMRE’s strong-suits. A few choice sample selections ride over bulldozing synth arrangements on NGHTMRE’s new offering, playing a fitting final note as the wait for his Mad Decent debut comes to an end.
