Deadmau5 joins Pendulum on Ultra main stage for ‘Ghosts N Stuff’ [Video]

This year’s installation of Ultra Music Festival featured a hugely diverse array of artists from all spheres of the dance music world. While artists from a wide variety of genres and generations were well-represented, some tropes predominated more than others. Two of the primary motifs that defined Ultra 2016 were the ubiquity of Deadmau5, and the star-studded Pendulum/Knife Party dual performance.

In recognizing the pervasiveness of these themes, perhaps no moment better defines the most recent Ultra Music Festival than their combination, which manifested when Deadmau5 joined Pendulum onstage for a rousing rendition of his and Rob Swire’s iconic 2010 collaboration, “Ghosts N Stuff.” Zimmerman and Swire evoked FOMO-rooted envy from fans across the country by performing the song that turned so many on a genre which was just on the cusp of bursting in America on the largest platform that the nation has to offer. Watch the video above, and don’t make the mistake of missing out on UMF 2017.
