Good Morning Mix: Big Wild debuts new music in Spring 2016 Mix

In the midst of playing festivals and getting ready to embark on his first headlining tour, Jackson Stell of Big Wild has somehow also found the time to deliver a new Spring 2016 Mix. Featured in the mix are old favorites such as “Aftergold” and the Big Wild remix of Griz’s “For the Love,” in addition to four new tracks, including two unreleased originals and two remixes.

Following true Big Wild fashion, Stell has yet again proved that his music is genre-defiant, this time putting his chirpy, instrumental touch on Chvrches‘ disco-tinged “Empty Threat” and Snakehips’ wildly popular “All My Friends.” It is the two unreleased tracks, however, that are the standouts of the mix. Serving as melodic bookmarks, the opener is a understated yet luminous affair with a brilliant chord progression while the closing track is a vocal dynamo, starring iDA HAWK’s unmistakably fervent sound.

While there is no information around release dates for the new music, Stell has foretold that fans could “expect even more new music for the tour.” Find tickets for the tour here.
