Paul van Dyk cancels Miami Music Week appearance after suffering a concussion

Paul van Dyk will not be making ay appearances in Miami this year after sustaining a couple of major injuries at A State of Trance 750 in late February. The trance veteran fell 20 feet from the main stage, where he was then airlifted to a local Amsterdam hospital and treated for a concussion and broken vertebrae. Despite the tragic series of events, Paul is expected to fully recover.

The German stalwart was scheduled to perform at Space on March 19 in celebration of VONYC Sessions’ 500th episode. The length of Paul van Dyk’s hiatus from touring is undetermined. Read Space’s official statement below:

Due to Paul van Dyk’s recent accident, he is unable to perform at Club Space for Miami Music Week on the 19th of March. We at Club Space wish him a speedy and healthy recovery and we certainly cannot wait to have him back for you. We have scheduled Paul’s Politics of Dancing 3 collaborators, Aly & Fila, along with Ben Nicky, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Kyau & Albert to perform their Miami Music Week showcase at Club Space. All tickets for the Paul van Dyk event will be honored for entry on that evening.
