Years since his passing, The Notorious B.I.G.’s music lives on, inspiring numerous covers and tributes from artists of all genres. The late rapper’s “Hypnotize” serves as one of his biggest tracks, with Los Angeles group RAD Stereo crafting a cover that’s rooted with a fresh house sound.
Soulful female vocals substitute Biggie’s rap flow, gliding atop a melody of harmonic keys and groovy synths. RAD Stereo’s “Hypnotize” cover is a funky rendition that manages to respect the original while adding a modern dance music touch.
