The Radar 50: Mixed by Hotel Garuda

Hotel Garuda have quite the story behind their artistic project. The duo, consisting of Manila Killa and Candle Weather, formed their house union two years back when the childhood friends decided to remix Disclosure’s “White Noise.” Fast forward to today and Hotel Garuda have released their first original, “Smoke Signals,” on PRMD Music, on top of recently supporting Amtrac on his Lost In Motion tour.

Having found success in such a short timeframe, it felt more than appropriate for Hotel Garuda to take the decks for the 50th episode of our mix series, The Radar, before they embark on their Miami Music Week expedition. Launching the hour-long groove-fest with their brand new original, the LA/DC-based pair show off their favorite selections that they have been playing out in their sets as of recent, including Tchami’s “Missing You,” MK & Kant’s “Ey Yo,” Chris Lake’s “Chest,” and even Daft Punk’s “Digital Love.”
