SoundCloud deletes Morgan Page’s account
The future of SoundCloud is starting to look more certain, with the streaming service eyeing paid features in the near future and finally inking a deal with Sony.
In their latest controversial move, however, SoundCloud has deleted the account of Morgan Page, with the producer airing his grievances on Twitter.
According to Page, SoundCloud deleted his account because he included Martin Garrix’s remix of The Weeknd in a mix he uploaded. Though the track was a legal promo, SoundCloud action’s reflect their copyright infringement efforts which targeted Kaskade back in 2014.
As a result, Page will no longer be hosting his In The Air radio show on the platform. He will inform fans when his team has completely switched services.
