Dusky drop new single for Record Store Day
High quality house duo Dusky have shared a taste of their forthcoming album with the new single “Buckets.” The track has apparently been floating around in sets and mixes for some time, but has finally been released in honor of Record Store Day this Saturday, April 16.
“Buckets” is a restrained, chilly house release that perfectly encompasses the duo’s style. A twinge of UK Garage winds through the track amidst cool, clapping wood blocks and a reverb-heavy bassline.
The UK based duo are slated to premiere their new live show at London’s Village Underground this Friday and took to twitter to tease fans with the possibility of a new release to honor the occasion.
New music from us this Friday… ‘Ingrid Is A Hybrid’. Excited to share new sounds.

Whether “Ingrid is a Hybrid” is the name of their anticipated new album or another teaser track remains to be seen. Fans have been waiting patiently for a follow up to 2011’s Stick By Us from the tastemakers at Anjunadeep.
