Insomniac announces partner for this year’s EDC Week Charity Auction
Insomniac recently announced The Shade Tree will be this year’s beneficiary of the second annual EDC Week Charity Auction, a 10-day benefit where EDC fans can bid on experiences ranging from exclusive access to the festival, performing artists, Las Vegas hangouts, and more. Last year’s auction raised a whopping $70,000 (not bad for its first year) for Culture Shock Las Vegas, a charity that aims to leverage art and dance to guide young people from violence and substance abuse.
The Shade Tree is a nonprofit that seeks to improve the lives of women, children and pets affected by crisis and domestic violence across the Las Vegas valley by providing shelter and spreading positivity. The money generated at this year’s charity auction will go towards augmenting the organization’s activity center, an arts and education space created to provide a positive atmosphere for young people being served at the shelter.
More details surrounding this year’s auction will be revealed April 25.
