Monstercat‘s AI artist, Karma Fields, is the Canadian label’s most puzzling enigma. The technology-meets-music project made their its appearance when it hacked into the Monstercat Twitch stream to debut its first single, “Build The Cities.” Almost a year later, Karma Fields released its debut album, New Age Dark Age, showcasing the project’s grungy, industrial style.
Each of Karma Fields’ singles have been coupled with 3D-mapped video counterpart. To continue providing fans with a multi-sensory experience, the mysterious producer has released a mind-bending, full-length video for New Age, Dark Age. Commencing with the LP’s cinematic lead track “Edge of the World,” the album runs from start to finish with every song receiving its own visual segment of monochromatic chaos.
