Matthew Warren takes it back with new two-track house EP

New Jersey native and former Trendroid member Matthew Warren has another treat for house fans up his sleeve: a brand new two-feature EP that will conjure memories of old school Chicago-style house circa the days of warehouse parties and underground jack-a-thons. Out now via Brobot Records, the EP hits the ground running with “The Rough Life,” a fast-paced, high energy gem complete with infectious kicks, classic house piano stabs and edgy hip-hop samples. Next up, “Hear Me Out” is a shimmering, sleek and chic sequel that’s as well-suited for an upscale lounge as it is for an underground basement party. Groovy and full of soul, it rides along on a thick and juicy bass line that’ll sweep you up from the intro.
