One For The Boys announces male cancer charity party featuring Jamie XX, Eats Everything, and more
Male cancer charity One For The Boys has announced a star-studded fundraising party on April 30 at Troxy in London. Titled “The Masquerave: Black Tie & Big Beats,” this benefit party will make it easy to donate some hard-earned funds with the decks being graced by the likes of Jamie XX, Seth Troxler, Faithless, Groove Armada’s Tom Finlay, Catchment, Eats Everything, Jillionaire and Patrick Topping, with more to be announced.
Cancer is an incredibly difficult subject to bring up and have honest conversations about with friends and family. The charity aims to spread awareness about the importance of getting screened and for those diagnosed, to reach out and build a support network to help get through it.
“Music is one of the best ways of bringing together and connecting people and helping to start conversations, conversations that may save lives,” says One For The Boys’ Chairman, Samuel L. Jackson. “Having the support of some of the best dance DJs for a cause like this, as well as our new partners Fiat, will help us reach an even bigger audience and drive the conversation about male cancer.”
Tickets are available here, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the charity.
