Listen to Zedd and Kesha’s collaboration, ‘True Colors’
Zedd and Kesha’s blockbuster collaboration, “True Colors,” has arrived a day early. First debuted on-stage at Coachella during Zedd’s headlining performance from the Outdoor Theater, the release marks Kesha’s first single since 2013’s “Timber.”
A rework of “True Colors,” taken from Zedd’s sophomore album of the same name, the version swaps Tim James’ topline for Kesha’s impassioned performance.
Though Kesha has been entangled in a seemingly endless legal battle with her former producer Dr. Luke, Zedd was able to get official clearance for the single. “We didn’t use any loop holes,” he said on Twitter. “Kemosabe / RCA gave us permission to release this song!”
