Austin City Limits marks 15th anniversary with Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer and more
Austin City Limits is pulling out all the stops for the festival’s 15th anniversary this year. Compiling a lineup that varies between the festival’s two weekends, the event boasts eight stages and over 130 acts booked for their 2016 installment. Headlining duties for this year’s event go to Kendrick Lamar LCD Soundsystem, Mumford & Sons and Radiohead, with the latter two slated for their inaugural ACL performances. Dance music is also extremely well-represented on the 2016 lineup, with Major Lazer, Kygo, The Chainsmokers and Flume each among the top-billed talents.
From M83 to Die Antwoord, ACL patched together one of the most colorful lineups of 2016’s festival circuit. Performances by Miike Snow, Flying Lotus, and Bob Moses satisfy a range of electronic cravings while acts like Schoolboy Q, Anderson .Paak, and DJ Mustard will dish up a healthy dose of hip-hop.
Austin City Limits will celebrate their 15th edition of the festival at Zilker Park across the weekends of September 30 – October 2 and again from October 7-9.
