The Chainsmokers talk with Larry King about their Coachella debut, dream collaborations, and more

When it comes to the crossover space, The Chainsmokers have become experts in that department. Currently, the dance-pop duo are sitting pretty at #1 on iTunes Dance with “Don’t Let Me Down” and the #5 spot with “Roses” that was previously #1.

Following their highly buzzed-about Coachella debut, The Chainsmokers recently sat down with legendary broadcast anchor, Larry King, to discuss their performance in the desert, their opposition towards Donald Trump, dream collaborations, and more.

First diving into their Coachella performances, The Chainsmokers explain the multi-month process of earning an invite to the Indio festival and how they crafted the 50-minute set. After discussing the pair’s early beginnings, Larry King begins his famous rapid-fire question game, ‘If You Only Knew,’ where Alex and Drew reveal their first kiss, dream collaborations, favorite cities to play in, craziest fan encounters, most embarrassing moments, and more.

The interview wraps up with Twitter questions from fans with the most frequent questions revolving around their unreleased track, “Closer.” Given the title “We Ain’t Never Getting Older” by fans, the pair showed the track off at Coachella and revealed it will not be released for some time as they space out their originals.
