DA Premiere: Matthias Tanzmann & Sven Tasnadi – Coriolis
Matthias Tanzmann is not one to allow his nearly two decade-long career affect his ardor, stepping up his touring and production schedule as his imprint Moon Harbour settles into its sixth year of existence. The Leipzig native found himself working with Daniel Stefanik for a powerful Volta EP earlier in the year which showcased both artist’s affinity for conjuring hypnotic house rhythms. Now he’s returned alongside Moon Harbour regular Sven Tasnadi for his second offering of the year.
Such A Thing is a colorful EP whose three tracks combine Tasnadi’s proclivity toward driving warehouse cuts with Tanzmann’s wizardry with percussion. “Coriolis” closes out the EP on a deep note, as groovy basslines and tingly keyboard accents converge into a consistent sonic journey.
Such A Thing lands on Moon Harbour just in time for Tanzmann’s annual Ibiza residency, where he will be hosting an array of Moon Harbour nights throughout the summer.
